In order to allow flexibility in your vacation planning, our deluxe weekend railway journeys featuring travel aboard vintage luxury railcars will now be offered as private charters available throughout the season on the date of your choice at surprisingly affordable flat-rate fares.  We're sure everyone has a small circle of friends or family that will love our fine personalized vacation experiences.

This year we plan to continue running our Pullman Dining Car "Epicurus" on weekends between New York City and Vermont.  However Amtrak management insists they are will no longer be able to accommodate our frequent operation.  Therefore this will likely be the last season we will operate our weekly Hudson Valley Explorer, Wine 'n Dine Train, Saratoga Dining Train and Vermont Dining trains.  If you relish the though of a fine dinner served aboard an authentic Dining car as the train winds through the scenic Hudson River Valley or the rolling hills of Vermont....now is the time to book as this unique opportunity may not be available next year.

New for 2011:  Guests on our Saturday only Wine 'n Dine Train from New York City will have the opportunity to leave the train and stroll across the Hudson River as the old Poughkeepsie-Highlands Railroad Bridge has become the new "Walkway Over the Hudson State Park"!  Also thru ticketing is available to connect with the new Saratoga & North Creek Railway to/from North Creek and intermediate points.

By popular request we have extended our dining train north to serve Lake George, Saratoga Springs and Vermont.  We've also been busy redecorating and improving our exclusive dining car "Epicurus".  New interior decor will take you back to that glorious streamlined era of the 1950's out west on the "Santa Fe" when travel was actually a pleasant experience.  Guests will enjoy the benefits and state-of-the-art audio-visual entertainment and there's always a sense of place as our large GPS monitors pinpoint your exact location. 

Now I invite you to slow down and escape from the "bare bones" jet set.  Enjoy our very civilized mode of transportation where travel is still a "sense of occasion" and the vacation begins as soon as you board the train.  I suggest that you reserve a place with us now as the opportunity may not be able if you "wait till next year".
