A relaxing railway journey featuring breathtaking views of the majestic Hudson River Valley and upstate New York’s Mohawk River wine country. It's a dramatic journey across the Empire State enroute to the refreshing waters of Niagara Falls.

The scenery is incredible as the train twists along the shores of the mighty Hudson River for over 140 miles. Crossing the Hudson you'll enjoy views of Albany--the Empire State's proud Capitol. The lush Mohawk River Valley provides our path through the mighty Allegheny Mountains. See boats and lift locks as we follow the famed Erie Canal and learn the essential role of this waterway in leading the rapid development of New York State.   

A highlight of your journey will be the delightful meals served in our authentic Pullman Dining Car "Epicurus". Each table offers ever changing views of scenic upstate New York through oversize picture windows. Delight-in Brunch and Dinner prepared fresh onboard and served restaurant style. Gentle motion and soothing music enhance your experience.

You'll have two full days to explore the wonders of Niagara Falls at your leisure. Your Niagara Falls Discovery Pass features admission to popular park attractions including the Cave of the Winds Tour, Maid of the Mist ®, Niagara: Legends of Adventure movie, the Niagara Gorge Discovery Center, the Aquarium of Niagara and one day of unlimited transportation on the Niagara Scenic Trolley! And of course you'll enjoy the breathtakingly beautiful evening Falls Illuminations. Try your luck nearby at the newly enhanced Seneca Niagara Casino where you'll find more than 4,000 slots and  100 table games.

The return journey home concludes with a gala twilight farewell dinner and live entertainment. Join the Dining Car Steward and your fellow guests for a toast to the end of a wonderful getaway.

Roundtrip guests are guaranteed riverside seating in at least one direction. Seating requests will be honored in the order in which paid reservations are received. All tables comfortably seat 4 guests. A passport or passport card is required for guests desiring to cross the border between the United States and Canada. Train serves Moynihan/Pennsylvania Stations in New York City. Special Fares for groups of 12 or more guests. Custom group itineraries and exclusive luxury railcar charters available. Personalized arrangements may be available for guests wishing to extend their vacation additional days.
